Freud Cigar Co. SuperEgo Robusto Extra Review

Freud Cigar Co. SuperEgo Robusto Extra Review

Dr. Sigmund Freud is a historical figure that I am sure most individuals have at least heard of. He is the founder of psychoanalysis and consequently one of the most influential and historically significant members of neurological and psychiatric history. He also was a prominent cigar smoker. According to Freud Cigar Co.’s webpage the company was formed by a “team that shaped other established players in the market,” and has “brought top names in the cigar industry together to create innovative, small-batch blends of their own.” Freud Cigar Co.’s inaugural blend is named SuperEgo after Dr. Sigmund Freud’s “model for...

Casa 1910 Revolutionary Edition Tierra Blanca Review

Casa 1910 Revolutionary Edition Tierra Blanca Review

Casa 1910 is a premium cigar and lifestyle brand that celebrates and honors the Mexican Revolution. They made their debut in the cigar industry in late 2021 with the release of the Chuchillo Parado, a Mexican puro named after the place the Mexican Revolution began. The most recent of these projects is the Autonom Lineup Pack, which is an opportunity for consumers to engage with the company and take part in...

From the Vault: 2010 Avo Heritage Robusto

I was able to get my hands on some 2010 Avo Heritage Robustos recently. I put all of them up on the site for purchase, but the longer they’ve stayed, the harder it has been not to pull one out and smoke. I broke down today and went for it while I worked on some guitar necks in the garage. I figured if I am going to smoke one, I better at least review it, so this will be the third “From the Vault” review. I, for some reason, have never smoked an Avo Heritage… I should probably get one...

Caldwell Cigar Co. Crafted & Curated Louie the Last Review

Caldwell Cigar Co. Crafted & Curated Louie the Last Review

This July Caldwell Cigar Co unveiled a new series of cigars known as “Crafted & Curated”. There are four inaugural releases, with three of them being tied to existing cigars in the Caldwell Cigar Co lineup. The concept behind the Crafted & Curated series is that Robert Caldwell, founder of Caldwell Cigar Co, often experiments with different tobaccos and blends while in the factory and this series allows him to share his experiments. The cigars in the line are limited with various numbers released of each blend. Today I am beginning a dive into the Caldwell Cigar Co Crafted &...
